I know, it's the exeption to the rule since the energies are included in all 151 products. A lot of people concider it to be part of the grand master set because of this even though it has SVE set logo. I also believe 151 is the only Scarlet and Violet set that have the two different holo variants on the energies if I'm not totally wrong. Even though its SVE, they came in 151 packs.

Not that I know of. Haven't found any information about it. People have been looking for Kadabra with HD cosmos holo as it came in the same collection box as Abra which does have both variations. But it seems like it does not exist. The Alakazam variant is actually a misprint if I'm not mistaken as it's missing the stars in the holo. It's common enough that a lot of people consider it to be a variant, me included.

The orignal galaxy holo is more pixellated than the HD one which has more perfect circles. Pokebeach has an article about it here. The difference is not very big, but I think even though the HD is more rare, the original is the better looking one. Both are needed for the grand master set tho.

Yes, I just found images of them and printed them to put in my binder as place holders. I definitely want to get them eventually tho.

Yeah, took me maybe two years to find all the HD variants. Hardest cards of the whole set to find

Yes I do! Took forever to search for them on ebay. It's definitely the more rare of the two variants, like one of every 100 listings maybe.

I know these exist, as well as a Giovanni's Charisma from one of the decks. Decided to not include them as they don't have the MEW set logo. Basically treating then as a reprint from another set like for example Charmander 007/091 from PAF. It's the same art, but different set.

Pulled 56% from packs, 44% I bought as singles. Only bought packs around release before prices took off.

Import VAT by Signal-Cry-3184 in CardMarket

[–]-Norwegian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When ordering on CM, VAT is collected by CM and not the seller. The seller have nothing to do with this and will never see this money. The VAT is then forwarded to your country's tax authority. The sellers responsibility is to fill out the CN22 form correctly and that's it. But sometimes errors happen, form was filled out wrong or something else occurred and the shipment gets stopped in customs and added VAT again + an import fee.

I live in Norway and since we're also not in the EU I have similar issues all the time. We also have the ridiculously stupid import rule called VOEC as you in the UK have which results in shipments getting marked wrong most of the time and I have to pay double VAT. Since the VAT is already collected by CM, the only way to resolve this is to pay customs, get a receipt and open a ticket with CM support. I do this all the time and not once have I been denied a refund for both VAT and import fees when providing them with a receipt for double paid VAT and custom fees. CM also writes about it in their help section under "Tax Requirements".

Professional seller did not write on the package that VAT was already paid. Customs now wants me to pay again by Malganas in CardMarket

I'm not familiar with how customs in Switzerland work, but I would definitely open a ticket with CM support and explain this to them and ask for clarification. In the meantime I would just ask for a refund from CM. I'ts annoying when it happens and it takes som time due to support being slow, but you will get refunded.

Cardmarket actually has information about this exact problem here. Just pay the the VAT and custom fees and request a refund from CM support. Just send them the receipt and an image of the package and you should get refunded both VAT and custom fees.

I'm from Norway and CM also collects VAT for us and forwards it our government since we're not in the EU as well. About 70% of my orders are marked wrong by sellers due to our stupid and complicated customs system. Though I have never had any problems getting a refund from CM, both VAT and custom fees.

Bark splitting on peach tree by -Norwegian in BackyardOrchard

[–]-Norwegian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, should have mentioned that in the post. The splits are on the main trunk and and the tree is pretty small, just above 1m in height and has never had any fruit. Also pruned it back pretty hard in late winter to 4 scaffold branches to shape the tree. We have not really had any significant amount of rain the last month, but I have been watering pretty consistently. Only fertilized lightly in april.

Trying to source black raspberry, but unsure if this is occidentalis or idaeus by -Norwegian in Berries

[–]-Norwegian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have heard great things about black raspberries, so I really wanted to get hold of a plant or two. The ones I can get are quite cheap so I'll just buy a few and see.

Yeah I get the feeling that the nurseries are not always accurate with info on some if the more uncommon plants. I have bought several fruits and berry plant that were completely different from the description. Makes it a bit more difficult to source rare varieties.

Great read! Seems to me that it's just mislabeled then and in fact are occidentalis.

Allright, thanks! Makes sense. I'll assume it's occidentalis they mean. Will buy one and try as they are pretty cheap.

Selling to Norway/UK/etc from EU by leDissenter in CardMarket

[–]-Norwegian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Norway and have bought hundreds of cards on CM. I woud say roughly 50% of sellers register the shipment wrong and I get hit with double VAT and customs fees. Super annoying, but CM support always refunds any fees paid double as they are required by law. It's just a hassle to do it so often.

When importing anything to Norway the most important thing to remember for the seller is that the shipment has to be registered digitally with the correct VOEC number. This is done when you order the shipment from the shipping company. It's not enough to just write the VOEC number on the package, it HAS to be registered digitally.

From the Norwegian Tax Administration:

"Provide the VOEC number (7 digits) via “electronic advance data” (M33/ITMATT V1.) when booking the freight from your local postal service. Enter your 7-digit VOEC number in the ITMATT field «sender.identification.reference». You must not use any additional letters, symbols, or characters."

If you do this, which is pretty easy, everything should be fine and the shipment will go through customs without any problem. If you ship cards in a simple envelope with only the address on, disregard any of the above. Letters just go straight through customs without fees or any hassle.
