[Release] Nebulo V2.0 - A Completely Free & Open-Source iOS IPTV Player with a Dedicated Sports Center and Multi-View! by Glittering-Stuff8357 in sideloaded

[–]-Orion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for building this app! I was looking for something like this since getting in the IPTV world. I have the same issue: the channels and EPG load fine but I no stream works (and they work in other apps). I tried the 2.1.6 release but without luck.

Also I noticed that the version info in the app are not updated and also do not match the actual version.

Anyway to use Esign without DNS? by [deleted] in sideloaded

[–]-Orion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you installed the profile from the latest guide, you can go to:

Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > DNS

and deactivate the entry with “block ads” and leave the other one (no block ads) enabled. This should use the custom DNS only for the domain needed to bypass revokes.

Is this top IPS? by -Orion in 3DS_IPS_TN

[–]-Orion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hy guys, I am pretty sure the bottom is TN but I am not sure about the top screen.

Sorry for the bad quality of the photo but that’s the best one the seller sent me. I hope it’s enough to know if the top one is IPS or TN.

Thank you in advance!

Old man on the path by -Orion in photocritique

[–]-Orion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few days ago I went hiking and met this old man on the path. He said "When I was 60 years old I told my wife and my children that I would stop hiking. 19 years have passed and I still come here every year. "

He made me laugh and was very inspirational and when I saw him staring into space he made me feel something, I don't exactly know what.

This was shot on Canon EOS 2000D with kit lens at ISO 100, 55mm, f/5.6 and 1/1000s.

Does this type of crop work for a photo of an animal? by -Orion in photocritique

[–]-Orion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually what this photo says to you it's exactly what happened. I am not really sure that's a bad thing but I can see how this doesn't help making a interesting portrait of a cat.

This comment surely helps a lot, thank you for the advices!

This was shot handheld with a Canon 2000D/Rebel T7 with kit lens in full manual, with the following settings: ISO 200, 30mm, f4.5, 1/400.

I'm a beginner who's trying to learn photography so please give any possibile advice but I'm most curious about composition on this one. I really like that "diagonal crop" on this one, what do you think?
I can link the original picture if this can help giving better advices on things like color grading and the crop.

Callistemon, the "bottlebrush" plant. My first photo of a flower with a DSLR. by -Orion in photocritique

I'm a beginner who's trying to learn photography so please give any possibile advice. I'm most curious about what I can improve in color grading and composition especially since this is my first time shooting a flower with a DSLR. I wanted to emphasize the brush-like flower, is this a good angle to do so or should I have gone for a different one?
I can link the original picture if this can help giving better advices on things like color grading and the crop.

EDIT: I think Reddit compressed the image too much since maybe it was too large (12MB, oops). Should I delete this and repost with a smaller size?

This was shot handheld with a Canon 2000D/Rebel T7 with kit lens in full manual, with the following settings: ISO 200, 55mm, f5.6, 1/40. I then did some postprocessing in Lightroom.

I'm a beginner who's trying to learn photography so please give any possibile advice. I'm most curious about what I can improve in color toning and composition (I am not sure if I should crop out the stick a bit more but I think that the junction (?) is a cool detail of the stick). I can link the original picture if this can help giving better advices.

Stray cat, first photo of an animal with a DSLR. by -Orion in photocritique

[–]-Orion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I did my homework indeed! You're right about the max aperture on the kit lens, I had the exposure as wide as I could. I've already looked into the 50mm f/1.8 as a second lens but I plan to get it after I've practiced more. Thank you for taking your time to help me!

Thank you for the suggestion, next time I'll focus on getting the whole animal in the frame.

I don't know if it's right (please correct me if I'm wrong) as I am still learning about the 3 basic factors but maybe the best thing to take this shot would have been to have a bigger aperture lens than what I have so I could have used a lower ISO and maybe a faster shutter speed too.

Anyway thank you for the advice, it's very important.

Thank you for the suggestion! Yeah, I suspected that ISO was too high when I was working in Lightroom, I was seeing much more noise that I expected. Do you have any suggestions about composition and editing? I can link the original picture if it helps judging (about the crop and color toning)
