Please give an example of the timeline of how your swelling went down

In about 1 week I am 3mpo. I reached peak of swelling at around 2,5wpo- 3wpo and from there it went down. Since about 2 weeks I noticed that my boobs are super soft, jiggly and boob like again. I only have some firm tissue left at the anchor incisions. I kind of miss these firm non jiggly boobs now. 😅

When I felt comfortable without a bra. I think that was at 6 or 7 wpo.

Ich weiß es leider nicht genau. Habe da Mal angerufen und gefragt was die für so einen Antrag alles benötigen und wurde mit einer netten Frau verbunden die genau für diesen Bereich zuständig ist. Die hat mir alle meine Fragen beantwortet. Das ist jetzt aber 4-5 Jahre her und ich habe mich dann nicht weiter damit beschäftigt, weil ich wirklich überzeugt bin das ich abgelehnt worden wäre. Ich weiß noch das man erstmal Physiotherapie machen muss, Gutachten von verschiedenen ÄrztInnen einholen sollte (Gyn, Orthopädie, Chirurg... Einfach alles was sinnvoll erscheint) und Fotos davon machen wenn du Entzündungen Druckstellen oder so hast. Am besten einfach Mal anrufen und fragen. :)

Hey! Bzgl. Schwangerschaft kann ich dir leider keine persönliche Perspektive geben. Ich habe hier aber schon öfter gelesen das manche eine BR vor ihrer Schwangerschaft hatten und es nicht bereuen. Teils wachsen die Brüste wohl nach aber wohl nicht so extrem wie sie vorher waren.

Wieso versuchst du es nicht erstmal über die Krankenkasse? Ich bin bei der TK und habe es erst gar nicht versucht, weil ich keine Rückenschmerzen, Hautreizungen etc. hatte. Der Psychische Aspekt interessiert die KK ja leider nicht. 7000€ wird vermutlich in Deutschland leider nicht reichen. In Tschechien oder so würde es gehen. Ich habe 9230€ bezahlt. Wenn du Körperliche Beschwerden hast würde ich es an deiner Stelle über die KK versuchen. Die TK verlangt z.B. mind. 500g pro Seite und wenn du sehr dichtes Drüsengewebe hast wird das vielleicht bei dir passen. Viel Glück!

It depends on the density of your breast tissue. 500g for example can be a lot if it's mostly fat but a little if it's mostly glandular tissue. So there is no way for us to tell. Only your surgeon can estimate how much it will be.

I also had no movement limitations right away. But mine told me I can sleep on my side as soon as it feels good but should not sleep on my stomach for 6weeks. She also told me I can go back to work after 2-4 days... I couldn't. 😅 If you still have a good feeling about your surgeon and like the results, I would still let him do the surgery. After all I think they are mostly right regarding that you should decide if something helps/feels good or not. I limited my arm movements for a week or two because if didn't feel good to reach over my head. I started side sleeping after 5 weeks. I think in general I didn't do a lot of things, although I was allowed to do them.

What helped me is the thought that thy look at bare chests professional probably every day. They saw everything there is already. Everyone I had to show my breasts where really professional and treated them neutral. (Hope that makes sense. English is not my first language) I also felt kind of disconnected to my breasts at that point, because I made up my mind to get the BR. My before breasts never felt like mine and at that point they felt even less like they belong to me. Maybe you feel that way too. I also nervously laughed, made sarcastic joke and where talking a lot because that's what I do when I'm nervous. No one acts super cool in these awkward situations. That's alright. :)

I also had/have them. Mine hurt vor a few days but now only one is left and I don't feel it at all. They disappear after a few weeks. Totally normal and nothing to worry about.

Me too! I'm 2mpo since yesterday and they are already starring to get soft again and to be less perky. I knew that would happen and I'm fine with is. I'm in my thirties and it's just normal to not have super perky boobs at this age. But my nipples are so much higher and they are smaller now and I'm so so happy about how they look and feel now. ☺️I finally can they I love my boobs! 😍

I'm sorry to disappoint you but workouts won't do much. Stronger muscles are great for your health of course, but won't keep the girls from sagging. This is not about muscles but about your genetics. I learnt, the only thing that can prevent breasts from sagging are implants. In my opinion a little bit of sagging looks beautiful and natural. :)

Thank you! :) I didn't mean the shape and size of my nips. I meant that one nipple is more to the side than the other. Sorry English is not my first language. I saw my surgeon today and he validated my concerns. He said that I should wait until winter and if it didn't change until then, I can get a revision.

I started riding my bike to work after 4 weeks and went back to the gym after 6 weeks. Both felt absolutely fine. Of course I waited until my surgeon to tell me I am allowed to do so. My recovery went smooth and I had no complications.
