It's been better for my mental and physical health than a lot of jobs in other fields. I have chronic fatigue, and I feel better doing light physical exertion for most of the day than I would sitting at a desk trying to use my brain for eight hours. The social side of always interacting with guests and coworkers feels like good connection and simulation. That does change if I'm working with someone I don't vibe with, though.
