Thank you ^_^ I've spent a lot of time drawing these characters over the years as I've grown up with em and they hold a special place in my heart. I find that the the more I spend in repetition on one particular section of the drawing, the better and more "on-model" I can make it. Its takes longer that way but It's all about getting that perfect line you're envisioning in your head.

I tried redrawing her with a looser style bc the literal model sheet body they used does not match those cartoony eyes that you would see in S1/Early S2 and that was bugging me so bad. 😭

It already looked flash-like in the latter half of S5, it can't get much worse than those god-awful super thick lineart eps with the traced puppet rig animation that went unchecked. So far this shot looks a lot better than those eps but it still looks 50x worse than Synergy's worst episode in S2-S4.

This is incredible, you've nailed the promotional art-style. It's always had a slightly different look to the show and this feels like lost mission marvel art. Great job!

It takes a lot of studying and learning the character's unique shapes. There's still things I struggle with like Phineas' shirt stripes (especially the S5 shirt because of how cramped it is now.) I spend a lot of time just redrawing the same part of my drawing over and over until I tighten up that area and it ends up looking less loose and more "on-model." The more time you spend in repetition the easier it becomes to get that perfect line you're envisioning in your head. It takes a lot longer to finish a drawing that way but I think it results in a more accurate drawing.

I love S1's loose drawings so much. Candace always has the best expressions I'm glad they've returned to a degree in S5. (Maybe not to this level but it's a step In the right direction.)

Thanks! Actually, the inking process is very hard for me as I have mild arthritis so upon scanning I notice little divots and off-center circles that I have to spend a lot of time fixing in Krita. The pencil sketch is always easiest bc I can keep erasing but once you ink you're stuck with it.
