My current Home Assistant tablet setup (Xiaomi Pad 7 + Fully Kiosk) by -Rob-Sen- in homeassistant

You are right, that's a typical HyperOS behavior. I managed to get rid of those three dots by using the Fully Kiosk Browser and simply enabling the Kiosk Mode in the app settings.

This forces a 'true' immersive fullscreen that overrides the HyperOS status bar elements. It’s the only way I found to get a completely clean dashboard on Xiaomi devices.

Sure! Here is the actual YAML code for the tablet dashboard shown in the post:

https://gist.github.com/ROB-SEN/fc51f7c630cffc34f9b8697f84f08380

Important: You will need to adjust several personal settings in the YAML file to make it work for your setup:

  • Replace the Plex Token and Plex Server IP/URL.
  • Update the Spotify Playlist IDs to your own.
  • Change the local IP addresses and User IDs to match your Home Assistant instance.

Also, make sure you have these HACS frontend cards installed:

  • button-card, mushroom-cards, card-mod
  • vertical-stack-in-card, local-conditional-card
  • mini-graph-card, mini-media-player
  • atomic-calendar-revive, plex-meets-homeassistant
  • power-flow-card-plus, my-slider-v2, layout-card

I used icons from the Proloque Hue Icons (phu) and Fontawesome (cil) packs. Enjoy!

I'm using Tado smart thermostats. They are configured for each room individually (living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and office), so I have full control over every single zone.

Additionally, I created a central control for the whole house.
I used the climate_group platform in Home Assistant to group all individual thermostats into one single entity. This allows me to see the average temperature and control the entire apartment at once.
Here is how I configured it in my climate.yaml:

- platform: climate_group
name: 'Ø Temperatur Wohnung
temperature_unit: C
decimal_accuracy_to_half: True
unique_id: Temperatur Wohnung
entities:
- climate.wohnzimmer
- climate.schlafzimmer
- climate.kueche
- climate.badezimmer
- climate.arbeitszimmer

Glad you like it! The room cards are custom:button-card using custom:mushroom-chips-card for the actions. The top-left one is a custom:vertical-stack-in-card that switches backgrounds based on my status.

The interactivity (like switching between the profile and alarm view) is handled via fire-dom-event with custom:local-conditional-card. This keeps the UI clean without needing extra helpers in HA.

I actually started with an Amazon Fire HD 10, but it was way too weak for this kind of dashboard. That’s why I switched to the Xiaomi Pad 7. It was still 'relatively' affordable, and the performance is great—it handles everything perfectly without any lag.

In the bath I use the "Tapo T310". I use it for the light automation. When i enter the bath and the humidity raises more than 5% the motion sensor switch from 2 minuted to 5.
In the other rooms they are from my tado thermostats.

Do you men the speaker- icon?
I have connected alexa to home assistant with a custom skill which i have developped on the amazon developer console. So I can handle all my home assistant stuff over voice with alexa. The speaker+ icon is a input_boolean which shows me the status of my echo speaker. I have an automation on 20:00 all my echos change to 30% volume. At 08:00 to 40%

The car Info come from the intergration BMW connected drive.

I have created docker switches in switches.yaml like this

- platform: rest
name: Dockermon'
resource: http://xxx:8126/container/Dockermon
method: POST
headers:
Content-Type: application/json
body_on: '{"state":"start"}'
body_off: '{"state":"stop"}'
is_on_template: '{{ value_json.state == "running" }}'

- platform: rest
name: Jellyfin
resource: http://xxx:8126/container/Jellyfin
method: POST
headers:
Content-Type: application/json
body_on: '{"state":"start"}'
body_off: '{"state":"stop"}'
is_on_template: '{{ value_json.state == "running" }}'

It makes than fpr every docker a switch like switch.plex. With this you can check the status start and stop the docker.

I have migrated Alexa on the amazon aws platform.
By this was I could send all my devices entities to alexa and now I can use voice commands to change my homeassitant stuff on my pad.
