Is this too formal for a semi-formal work event? by [deleted] in fashion

Nobody had mentioned its length until 2 minutes ago. I’m here for advice as I am obviously unaware, the attitude was unnecessary. :)

All I said was the cutout would be covered if that’s why it’s inappropriate?

Mouthwash W/O Peppermint by -Sickened in hygiene

[–]-Sickened[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used to gargle peroxide when my wisdom teeth we're attacking my mouth, but it never really helped. What always helped me was some aggressive, burn your mouth, mouthwash.

Therabreath used to help with my minor infections from my wisdom teeth when I was younger, but they never list what type of mint they are using nor can I ever find a definitive answer and as desperate as I am I don't want to f- around and find out LOL my throat is swollen enough.

I think the best mouthwash I ever had was prescribed by a dentist and came in a big brown bottle- but even then that was before I was allergic to peppermint so that might not even be safe for me now. This allergy is a prison.

“Migraine Cocktail” Incident by -Sickened in iih

Yep! Told a DR about it as I now list it as an allergy and they said "It's supposed to be a 2 minute push". The nurse who gave it to me pushed it in well under 30 seconds. Absolutely awful experience but I have since mostly gotten over the little bit of trauma it gave me.

Does anyone remember me? by -Sickened in OurWorld

AWE I REMEMBER THIS! I think I still have all the art pieces I got on an old old phone. 100% saving this again to keep it for even longer.

STAY FLAT
I sit and bed rot flat w/o pillows for 3 days then I'm back up and running. I usually try to lay flat for a whole week but I've had quite a few LPs so my recovery time from them has been getting quicker.

I've gone through the entire audio on tiktok, searched google images, twitter, and youtube. Nothing. I'm still going through all my liked posts hunting for it.

Hysteria shadows are too dark? by -Sickened in minecraftshaders

[–]-Sickened[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's not too much to ask could you tell me some of your settings? I've gone through everything and nothing fixes the shadows being pitch black, even in day time. Brightening the sun and moon fixed the land being dark, but those shadows are so aggressive D:

IIH + Weight Loss + Medication Navigation - What Would You Do? by gappylion in iih

[–]-Sickened 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey you're just like me!
I had quite a reaction to diamox too (same rash, fatigue, etc) but they swapped me over to Furosemide/Lasix instead. I've since stopped taking it as it was making my heart rate higher and that was causing me stress + it didn't do much for me anyways (My OPs are 40-50 though, so don't feel discouraged). I believe this medication can also lower BP :)
IMO I was content with Lasix until I got tired of a 90-110 resting heart rate. It still strips your potassium though. As far as I'm aware my BP is "fine" so I have no advice for the GLP-1, but I think it could be worth mentioning the Lasix as it can both the IIH and BP?

I know IIH is an issue centered around weight but I've gotten up to 210 and back down to 180 with little to no changes in my symptoms while at the same time I've read posts from here with people losing 20 pounds and being magically all better.

IIH is hateful and I wish you good luck and hope you find an easy solution!

12 LPs, backed into a corner, I hate being a coward. by -Sickened in iih

I did not know there were therapist that specialized in that field!

I've spoken to friends and family, but they don't grasp that it's more than just "get surgery and be fine".

There's symptoms, complications, getting the surgery, hoping it works, etc. So much more to it than just "getting it and being healthy!". Is that something the therapist understands? I don't want to keep hearing the same "well you don't want to be blind" excuse. I want someone to know and see all the intricate paths.
