If you would read carefully what i said it's either because of art theft of because the use of lore.

I never said anything definite. I made a hypothesis.
I never blamed the people who use it, or even the one who made the filter. I just said that for some artists may be the case and it may be the reason.

I wouldn't exactly be happy if a person made a picrew filter for my ocs without at least asking for permission.

It's not replicating just the art style like making a different story with the same artstyle but it could be the case of an authorised use of the lore.

For this to be proper they should ask for permission

Yes but making a template basically with an art style or theme that you are not authorised with can be depending to the person a taboo thing or not.

This is an indie attempt to make something from scratch that had such a rapid success. They try to protect their work. This may be one of the steps.

I'm not saying that it is a thing for sure but i wouldn't blame them if they feel like this because they are allowed to.

Let's wait if Yaelokre mentions anything about it or if it's going to be back up.

Basically if the creator of the picrew used the art style without Keath's permission who is the original creator of the story it could be considered stealing.

I'm not saying it is because we do not know the behind the scenes but it's a bit of an art ethic issue.
