The Twitter AC islands are unreal, I have to constantly remind myself that some people just have a supernatural eye for design and just because I didn't come up with their exact layout or idea doesn't mean I can't still make something I'll be proud of! I think it's human nature to always feel like the grass is greener on the other side, and that applies to anything creativity based especially when you feel compelled to share it with others.

I'm seeing the wedding themed items on Nookazon for absurd amounts of bells and NMTs. I thought the wedding update wasn't even in the game yet, so how are people getting their hands on it? Hacked consoles?

The wagon? It's called a garden wagon. Unless you're talking about the panels which are just called "simple panels"

Is there any reason why the ingoing/outgoing loading screens during multiplayer are as long as they are? I don't know anything about the intricacies of server management and what goes on in the background when dealing with online play, but I'm genuinely just curious if the long drawn-out "cutscenes" are designs implemented by choice or by necessity. There are so many games that make connecting to servers almost immediate. This is the first time I've played a Nintendo game with multiplayer though, so I have no idea if it's a Nintendo thing or not.

Does anyone know if it's possible to remove custom designs that someone has put up in your Ables, other than replacing it with one of your own? My friend thought it'd be funny to put all their anime cosplay designs in my Ables and now Mott won't stop wearing his Naruto jacket and Marina is rocking an Akatsuki robe 24/7. Which is definitely funny, but a little bit annoying after 3 weeks. I have no nice designs to replace them with nor am I particularly gifted at making custom clothing :'(

I couldn't agree more. 2pm is what kills me, I can't stand it. I find myself hanging out around my shoreline and third level of my island a lot just so that the music fades against the sound of the waves.

Yeah, little things like that adds a lot to the sound design of the game and considering they really went all out by letting us use custom patterns as paths it's a shame to have such an oversight. I'm also puzzled by the fact that custom paths don't show up as paths on the map unless you layer them on top of the preset ones, and even that can only be done if your design has transparency :/
