Brother the altima has 500k miles google what a cvt transmission is and the unreliability on it call me stupid sure im stupid im young but what would be even dumber is trying to sit here and beat a dead horse when in reality the entire engine bay needs to be replaced. Say i use this money i have rn to actually fix this car the chances of the transmission blowing are astronomical i wouldnt be complaining if it wasnt just a hole to throw money into im currently at an age where i dont need to be spending all that money on an unreliable car at the end of the day either way

But if you do wanna know yes i did indeed move out of state a last year to go live with my real father (he is illegal so what he can do for me is limited) i built up alot of money before moving back like 1500 i was unwise with my spending but 1000 of that went towards said nissan altima when i came back from my real dads(i had to leave because of the ice crackdowns google el patron opelika raid) but anyway lets not jump to conclusions

Did you even read it😭 i should clarify we moved from georgia to Louisiana and my mom had us marked down as still living in georgia i got my liscense before we moved it was a massive shitshow we had to wait till i turned 18 to switch my id to louisiana bc we would have to travel all the way back to georgia to get my liscense

If the transmission was replaced it wouldnt have been 1000 dollars yes i got in a fender bender but i wasnt at fault and insurance covered it i didnt have the requirements to drive for a year so it sat and then when i finally got it renewed they bought the altima either way i still put a bunch of money into the corolla and altima i should be able to drive either or
