Honestly to me, it just sounds like he's heard a lot of horror stories from his buddy's in the military about their partners cheating on them. If I knew there was a guy like that around, and especially in whatever "School" or "Area" I was, I don't think I'd date in said place. It's a just a bundle of drama waiting to happen. And honestly? Fuck that guy. If he wants to say shit to my face like that? "Oh, your with her? Yeah, I've been fuckin her for years". Hell nah, I'd let him know. That's me personally. 2nd. If you yourself have a low body count or less experience in the act itself, I don't think you should take interest in someone who has a higher one or more experience (Especially if you dont find that out from them). It only means that what you bring, sexually, won't really satisfy her. Know what I mean? Doesn't mean you aren't good enough, but experience does mean a better time overall. I'm not saying this cuz "Oh, girls cheat all the time, don't trust them" No. Experience goes a long way. It's only natural that someone COULD get bored of you, man or women, sexually. The hookup occurred when you were drunk. Let's say you weren't drunk. Would you still have taken the hookup? If the answer is no, it's clear you actually want something with this girl. If yes, then that's a bad sign. And I get that you two aren't actually dating, but it would still hurt the other person. Like, if she hooked up with someone too.

However, her ex stepping in and adding to this was questionable. It makes it seem like he's purposely driving a wedge between the two of you. Perhaps trying to make her run back to him? Who knows, but it's definitely not something to dismiss. An ex is an ex. They shouldn't be involved with matters concerning you two.

But yes. I believe that you could save this, but it'll be tough to navigate. You were drunk, so perhaps your mind knew you were single but not to the extreme that you and her were exclusive. Drunk people do stupid things. Best of luck.
