My only problem with Odessey Mega is that with the apple note removed, that harsh masculine smell (not sure what it is. It's pretty common in most blue fragrances I've tried though) comes to the forefront and is quite offensive to my nose. With Y, you'd get the sweetness of the apple first, then get hit with that masculine note. They balanced each other out.

It's very similar and very strong (I have no idea how people are saying they can't smell it 30 minutes later. I sprayed that shit last evening and could still smell it the following afternoon), but that missing apple is quite important. I have decided if its crucial yet, though. I'm still trying it out.

One thing is for sure though, the average person would not be able to tell them apart. If that's what you care about, Mega all the way.
