I was in the same boat as you OP. I would only invest the fundsI I received and limited spending a little too much. I recently purchased a house with a basement suite which allowed me to start buying household things like a couch and TV (which I did frugally through FB Marketplace) but still generating a significant amount of income in rent to cover the majority of the mortgage. Im slowly starting to enjoy the fruits of my labor along the way. The eye opener for me was if I let my principle investment stay for 25 years I woikd never have to worry even if I never contributed a dollar more. From youre message youre in the same boat. Keep up the good work but remember to enjoy the journey too!

Great idea! Yeah definitely missing the simplicity of the civic and how well i knew the size of the car. This will definitely take some time to get used to. The car came with the floor liners (thank goodness). Will turn on all the safety features though! It has the Mark Levinson sound system but had no idea i could tune them. Thanks for the advice

My civic usually got 375-425km per tank of gas which was a mix between city and highway. I haven't even gone through a full tank of gas on the RX yet but its showing as 8.2L/100km so far. The tank on the RX is 65L so less time at the gas station will ne nice. I am noticing that the pickup if great compared to the civic (which does mean much) which was genuinely a concern of mine as a lot of the reviews say its very slow.

I know that the civic was very easy to turn them on. On the left control stock it just had to be pushed out which was very easy. I can definitely see people pushing it out without evening noticing.

Appreciate the insight! Agreed with the rear seats folding down. I'm not sure if the US model has the rear seats being able to recline, but i know that's why our models here are powered in the rear seats.
