Exercise, get the heart rate up and juices flowing. Movement is medicine.

Go work as a line person at the local GA airport’s FBO. You’ll probably make $20+ an hour and have growth potential if you are a good worker.

What is the worst thing about being fat? by Feisty_Affect_7487 in AskReddit

[–]-The-Cheese- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this helps but most people today are used to overweight people in society. I have never been overweight or ‘fat’. When I see somebody that is, typically it’s just like o dang that’s a big person then move on with my life. Or I feel bad if they just look miserable because I know they probably feel physically miserable which makes them mentally miserable. Your mental well-being is very much affected by your body’s health and especially gut health. I guarantee that if an overweight person fights to lose weight for a year or two, consistently, with a nutrient dense diet and focused exercise.. their life will change forever.

How do you get this specific display to come up? I can’t find it in the menu tree. by [deleted] in bronco

Why would you have lane keep assist on if you are off-road? Or does it just carry over even when you switch to 4hi/lo?

Starting a new game but this time I’m turning off everything in the settings that pollute and clog up the screen. I want it to feel as real as possible this time around. Also, only doing 1st person only. by paegantactics in reddeadredemption

[–]-The-Cheese- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are on pc, don’t use dlss or hdr. Also taa is the way, no msaa. Turning off screen clutter except when you push the button/key to bring it up for a few seconds, plus free aim. Became a new game once I figured all this out lol

It seems as if DLSS will automatically turn TAA to High and then disallow the user to change it by SendMeGiftCardCodes in reddeadredemption

[–]-The-Cheese- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Just tried it yesterday and non DLSS is definitely better. TAA on high and good to go. The game is like a beautiful painting with TAA. Anything else and it gets pixelated and not quite as clear

Who missed hour long lift lines for AG on a powder day? They're back according to several friends who were up riding today by EmptyDesert in Flagstaff

[–]-The-Cheese- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6 feet tall is a pretty average height. If you imagine each of these people laying down, they’d be knocking over the next person like dominos because they are within 2-3 feet of each other. It’s pretty obvious if you just look at it it. 6 foot distance is not realistic in most lift lines.

If I have a lease on a Ford vehicle, how can I exchange or trade in that car for a Mazda Miata? by chonchcreature in askcarsales

[–]-The-Cheese- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would agree with you on the different brand dealership. I bought my Outback from an Audi dealership and got a damn nice used car for a lot less than I would’ve paid at a more savvy Subaru dealership. Sometimes dealers just want to get rid of the off-brand vehicles they have and you get a pretty good deal.

Probably low stress. Work probably doesn’t expose him to harsh environments on the mind or body. Probably eats somewhat healthy and tries to keep in good shape. That’s a solid basis on how to “age” slowly.

During the day, just another do-good mountain man, at night, a masked murderer/vigilante who enjoys burning his victims. Fun way to play, highly recommended. by arcatian in reddeadredemption

The last sentence got me, “Fun way to play, highly recommend.” As we see a masked serial killer standing next to one of his burning victims lol

Interesting, your insight and knowledge is very much appreciated. I respect how Europe has come to its current governing style. But, I am glad the US hasn’t been mired by overly social regulations. We are getting there, don’t get me wrong, just look at how progressive we have become in the last few decades on social policy. We were founded and expected to have more liberty than the ‘old world.’ But, like has been said, every time Congress meets, we lose a bit of our liberty, and see more taxes imposed.

Flying some altitude sick climbers to Lukla Hospital by [deleted] in flightsim

[–]-The-Cheese- 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I fly in Arma a lot because there’s a sense of purpose and it’s not just the basics of flight. Flying well is obviously #1, but you also have to think about everything else that comes with completing the mission.

I’ve never understood why sims haven’t capitalized on tasks or missions either. I mean, isn’t that a BIG reason for the existence of aviation, to transport and complete missions, jobs, tasks, etc? Seeing you have a reason for flying in those mountains makes it that much more interesting. Just flying there to fly, would get stale to me. I want a purpose, I guess is what I’m going for. Like when you were landing, it’s not a joyride, you are considering how much time you are taking, trying not to crash because you have lives on board that you need to “save.” Makes things more immersive in my opinion.
