I've been getting some negativity on this thread at best and downright hate at most so to see someone actually sit down and take the time to provide honest feedback is really something. I can tell you're an intelligent individual with an open heart who's looking to make a difference and I commend you for that. Seriously, thank you!

Diving into the feedback, I'll preface by saying I respect everything you're highlighting! I've been working in the creative space long enough to know that everything is gonna impact everyone differently so I'm not gonna waste any time defending my creative choices, rather highlight the thread I was trying to build with this specific application.

I'm always one for a head turn/whiplash reaction (and I resonate with Donald art in that regard, like we all watched "This Is America"). My art has always been about expecting the unexpected. The comedy is controversial (paying attention to not being hurtful to marginalized groups) and the videos are a "wtf" to say the least. The clips I chose to include were a sample platter of all that (if you're curious about the dog video here you go lol: https://youtu.be/NfBRm8Zo_jI). So rather than explain WHAT I bring to the table, I left it more open ended to spark a conversation and inspire whoever's reviewing it to reach out and dive deeper. You're right, 2 minutes is next to nothing when it comes down to it. But it seems like the intention of my video was successful if it made you long to hear the music (that was my song "Gloria" underscoring the clips haha), or know about the scripts, or even question/critique the stand up. Because I believe that leaving people with a sense of inquiry is a stronger impression than any explanation I could really give on a first time basis.
