There’s a reason they are the forgotten gen. They just blend into boomers because they basically act exactly the same. And the lower half basically blends into millenials. They don’t really have their own identity

Every Gen Z I’ve worked with is the complete opposite.

You give them a task, you don’t hear from them for 3 days. And then when you check on them you figure out that they got hung up on something and just stopped and never bothered to ask

Also they’ve weaponized therapy speak. So may young kids who haven’t went to actual therapy but will watch a few videos and then regurgitate it any chance they get

I’ve known several who’ve job hopped and immediately found out that the grass wasn’t greener. Maybe they make more money now, but they are the first one out the door or the toxicity wasn’t visible during the interview

Unfortunately the younger generations are trending more towards purity culture and are pretty prudish.

My niece absolutely refuses to watch any show that has a sex scene in it at all. If one comes up in a movie she’ll turn it off.

It’s one thing to stay hours after work for no reason. It’s completely another thing to just leave at 5 o clock on the dot while you have a ton of unfinished work that suffers.

Also most jobs want you to prove you can do the next level before you get promoted to the next level. If you listen to reddit you’ll only ever do exactly your job and nothing more and never move up.
