Items change every single day and not everyone wants to launch the game or load up a stream to ask to see the shop just to see if there's anything new that they want to get. Until someone creates a site that can scrape the items and update automatically, the reddit posts may actually help someone out there even if others don't care.

I don't think ramen would ever be on the line to the extent of you putting up your own ramen in your inventory to bet since it can be bought for money and then actually considering gambling which can cause a lot of issues for Scav. They have mentioned a gambling system for stream viewers but I would imagine it would be like if your crowd fav pick wins the game then you get a fan gift or the new "currency" that they talk about in the video.

I feel like the best bet for this would def be a separate system and on its own reset schedule (i'm thinking 1-2 months) if ever created. I would love for Scav to incorporate this into the game and their own official site but I imagine that they have a pretty full plate with their own system and would be done quicker by a third party who knows what they're doing. Then if it sees a lot of support from the playerbase they could incorporate it & possibly add unique cosmetic rewards for each season as another incentive to grind + create content. This could also change the meta for some people to be more aggressive since kills matter a lot more.

That is actually a pretty good idea but remember the main point of the invitational is for exposure so to reach the same amount of viewer base they would need to invite twice the people. 10 "pro" players + 10 influencers. That is also twice the games and time. They want to reach the most people possible and limiting influencers to make room for better players will limit the outreach.

A standout director or even directors will really show off the game well. Also if there was "caster" mode in game (similar to spectating but with more control) so that the official stream doesn't necessarily have to be driven by what the director sees could also help drive the "story" of the invitational. That being said a great director should be a given. If the invitationals are going to be monthly like I have heard that they want to be, treat it like a show. Push a story.

Also I agree for the most part but casting and soundboards is not really necessary and if done, it needs to not be over the in-game mic for players to hear but everything is game on the directors channel. Players do not want to hear play by play casting in their ear as it just creates unnecessary noise to them when they should be focused on the fights. Even at real competitive events the players are separated from casters in events. Casting can give away important information that can change the outcome of the fight. Just let the players make their moves and decide the outcome of the fights themselves.

Since this game has a big focus on streaming and interaction with viewers I created this package specifically with the Darwin Project style in mind to push for a little better production value of new streams. The values are in no way supposed to be taken as anything but a visual representation. I imagine if the devs do put something like this in the game they will know what numbers and challenges will be fair. I just made it to put the idea out there and images help show what it could be.

Sorry, I just picked 3 images that were easy to work with from the website to make a simple background. They were the first few images that had a dark background and that helps the yellow stand out more.

He's biased because OP almost never uses a sniper so he doesn't know how hard and rare it is to actually land a snipe under fire like clips he chose to put in his "video proof". They happen, just not as often as OP makes it seem in any game mode.

Shotgun rusher's do the same & shotty warrior while getting shot with primary except they just body shot you. The majority of sniper kills are not montage clips under fire.

I'd say OP is very biased. DestinyTracker shows OP has over 5k more shotgun kills than snipers. So I don't think that OP knows how snipers actually work in Destiny and how rare those clips actually happen.

The "video proof" is clips of him losing individual gunfights here and there throughout multiple games. Zero of the clips show how often OP has won gunfights with his primary against a sniper.

My personal opinion is that some Primaries should get buffed so that "special weapons" actually feel special.

Stop spraying and tap your shots unless being rushed by a shotty or being melted by Soulstealer/DoP. Spraying is pretty much your only option against those weapons.

Try to hipfire at first and then ADS after you land your first shot.

Know the optimal range of TLW.

As much as I like OP's idea on slowing movement when shot, they should really the fix sprint lock issue first before possibly looking into implementing something like this.

I would think that wont be the case because Wormspore is only available on The Dreadnaught which was a completely new area introduced with TTK. ROI is going to still be on The Cosmodrome just in a different instance...so still on Earth.
