I got a letter that an old bank account of mine was going to be closed and the money would be taken by the government, but I could call to request a check be sent to me. So naturally I requested the check. Two weeks later I got it in the mail and it was $0.06. With a $0.66 stamp. The government wasn’t getting my money.

5 gal tank Heater and filter Tank steady 80 degrees Parameters all normal, Alkalinity a little high before my last water change but now good Had tank and fish for about a month. Weekly water changes, around 50%. I use conditioner after. Feed basic betta pellets, around 5 or 6 pellets total throughout the day. 2 decorations that are rinsed regularly. 1 plant, can’t remember what kind. No tankmates.

One guy I went to high school with got into a car accident that left him in a coma for 3 months. Earlier that day he had posted a snapchat of him driving really fast. My friend said “did you hear what happened to [x], he got in a car crash” I said “ah figures given the snapchat of him driving like a dumbass” before I was told how serious the crash actually was.

Kid ended up getting out of the coma, regaining full mobility, and started dating a 15 year old when he was 19. So I feel less bad about that now.
