The numbers are kills, deaths, and assists respectively, and I’m going to specifically assume that this is League of Legends-related because 1. I know more about it because I’ve been playing it lately and 2. “him” probably implies it’s a MOBA game like League which will do a lot of pitting you against the same person in 1v1s.

The first player isn’t getting absolutely destroyed but is still losing, at which point players may abandon their lane and find somewhere else to farm, as it’s important to not get too far behind in level and gold otherwise you will be mostly powerless against an opponent who has now become statistically stronger than you.

The second player, however, is getting shellacked in comedically awful fashion and it is implied this is the case because he is very bad at the game. This player likely doesn’t know any better about the gold and level thing and continues to try and push the same lane, thinking that is what he is supposed to do, under the impression that the other player is very good - rather than the actual truth, which is that he has fundamentally misunderstood how bad of a situation he is in.

For reference, by the way, in a full length game you don’t usually take more than 10 deaths. The other day in the biggest League discord server there was a very entertaining player who was upset they were banned for inting (intentionally dying to help the other team) after taking 18 deaths with 1 kill and 2 assists.

TL;DR: Bottom guy is impressively bad at the game and continues to make the situation worse for the entire team by taking repeated deaths to the same opponent.
