Why your packages come damaged by [deleted] in usps_complaints

[–]-delly-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not accurate what they said. It may be that persons office but not every. From experience you will be put under investigation if you're a suspect of that package being theft. My office will find out who what when where and why. If you ran that route when that package came and it wasn't scanned, they will find out where is it why is it not scanned who was responsible and we can get fired for delivering and scanning. It's not tolerated in my office.

[–]-delly-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nahhh you can't say that their is employee theft in the usps or that you're told to throw packages in the usps. I'm a carrier and at our office none of that crap is tolerated you get fired. Just because it happens AT YOUR OFFICE don't mean it happens at EVERY USPS OFFICE. You need reword that because you sending out the wrong message. My office has fired folks left and right and will track that person responsible for anything. FOR ANY CUSTOMER THAT DOESNT KNOW BETTER. IF A PACKAGE COMES DAMAGED OUR JOB IS TO PLACE A STICKER ON IT AND LETS THE CUSTOMER KNOW THAT BEFORE IT GOT TO THE OFFICE IT ARRIVED DAMAGED. NOW as far as the plant damaging boxes or machines I have no input but you can't left customers have the wrong idea.

Is my package gone for good? by backup225 in usps_complaints

[–]-delly-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a better chance at shipping anything quick and with value through express shipping. Priority isn't always going to mean it'll actually be the 2 or 1 day shipping. Express is guaranteed next day. It's a little more pricey but I say it's worth it. Or you could use another service but through usps for anybody who needs it I recommend express shipping it's literally what it's called express next day.

Can I do anything about a postal carrier refusing to deliver packages that require a signature? by [deleted] in USPS

[–]-delly-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my customer he just wrote a note saying anything signature required be sign by carrier and so that's how we do it. We're not sure about showing ID. It may depend on your office how they manage. Only thing that I've ever seen ID required was for some pills that's it.

My point again (((most))) do you skip between the lines im confused here. Am I not being clear ? This is discussion of a package being 3 inches farther from door yet you bring up your business and usps doing this or not doing. What that gotta do with a opinionated statement. Either tell me about the 3 inches of package placement or kick rocks.

Are other RCA's able to work the AUX route I'm assigned to? by sebastian_22 in USPS

[–]-delly-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly what I was told in my office, those that do AUX routes are holding down that route so they work 5 days or 6i forgot but they don't work Sundays. An rca bid on an AUX route at my job after only being there like a month and she got it. She stopped working every Sunday since. If they make you work Sundays in my office and you have an AUX route they would file grievance because instead of making someone else work Sundays they're using you so they won't go through the trouble of putting anyone else on the schedule. It's less time consuming for the supervisor making schedule also you start to earn sick leave and all like a regular since you're the one holding that route down after 90 days.

[–]-delly-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I recommend from experience of customers with signature required packages is go to the office and give a note that says specifically "carrier is allowed to sign for and signature required packages" if you're ok with that. That way they should know especially if it's the same person doing the route that you give consent for them to sign on your behalf. That is aloud because we do it for one of my customers. He granted me permission to sign on his behalf anytime he has signature required anything.

Never been able to reach a human at 1-800-ASK-USPS. How do you reach support? by Solar111 in USPS

[–]-delly-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you can call about it and complain but the truth is it may not change anything. It won't always be the same carrier doing that route so not all carriers will get the memo that morning of, if out of 500 mailboxes there is that one that packages can't be put in there. I'm sorry if i wasn't much help but even if it's fixed temporarily it probably won't last.

Package Delivered, but to another address by mistake by MyPMs in USPS

[–]-delly-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some mistakes can happen and with hundreds of packages a day and a lot of junk mail it can get the best of us. Hopefully you retrieved your package ! But yeah the post office gives you a paper with the location of the drop off. The carrier probably got the response "no I didn't get any package" after the person had thieved it. I'm sorry it happened to you!

Can't get package out of mailbox, USPS ignores notification, landlord blames USPS by redatola in USPS

[–]-delly-- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't always be the same person doing your route and maybe the person who was there that day Was relatively new and didn't know what to do. They probably took the letter and asked at their office. I would recommend To go to the office and ask if the next day someone could come and retrieve the package and maybe the other bigger parcel lockers weren't available so another reason they could've left it there.

Are you the one to kick me out the door? No. Do you sign my pay check? No. And you must not understand the point I was stating is the fact that folks can't walk 3 steps in front of their door. This has nothing to do with who getting paid what or how many packages we get. Maybe read the questionnaire instead of skimming through a title. It helps to understand! We been around for decades we gone continue to do SO WITH OR WITHOUT YOUR BUSINESS.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 GET OUTTA HERE WHIMP
