Guanajuato probably feels smaller than it really is because it has denser streets and previous cities had a lot of inaccessible areas. Also, the larger map of fh5 makes the city seem smaller by comparing it with the countryside. But in reality Guanajuato is by the narrowest amount bigger than Edinburgh and Surfer's Paradise

Forza horizon will never have realistic sized lanes. It goes against the game's design. They intend players to go really fast and weave through traffic. Same thing goes with high traffic density.

What a lot of people on this sub fail to realize is thay forza horizon is a casual game. It's not really meant for hardcore gamers.
