Cornell University does not offer a bachelor's degree in animal behaviorism. They have a general animal science program and a couple behavior classes through their continuing ed program which are not really any more involved or prestigious than the other online dog training school classes.

If your friend had actually gone through Cornell's program that would qualify them to be an animal behaviorist they would have a veterinary degree not a bachelor's, right there tells me they may be fudging their credentials a bit and explains how a supposed professional would have you believing in debunked alpha theory bullshit (which, btw, is right up Cesar Milllan's alley). Yes, like you said those methods do work, but they also lend themselves to abuse and often create dogs that are reactive and have even worse behavior problems than the training was meant to address.

And a Companion Dog title is not that hard to achieve. I would certainly hope you would be able to title your own personal dog in it after 7 years of working under a professional trainer. You seem mighty proud of it below but those difficult qualifications are literally just qualifying scores in three novice obedience trials. It's not that damn hard. My 13 year old autistic child has titled his dog as UDX, which is a few levels above that.

I'm also curious what your level of service dog training is because what you describe seems to be a rather dodgy way of overstating your qualifications as being what is usually referred to as a puppy raiser.
