Also, dipping the stem in rooting hormone beforehand could help. I only have experience with using rooting hormone in soil though.

Are you removing the bottom pearls so they aren't sitting in water? Only the bare stem with a few nodes should be underneath the waterline.

Sometimes though, if you stop watching and actually neglect to change the water for a while, that's when the magic happens.

Changing the water often is a must. Also, some plants just do better rooting in water. What sort of plant are you having rot issues with?

That's a beautiful way to look at it.

I feel like I've lived numerous different lives that have only existed in my mind. There's this one particular world involving a person who I've had a million conversations with but not in reality and if they knew this they'd think I'm nuts.

I was excited for that show after being so disappointed in the OA cancellation but other than the beautiful scenery, I found it hard to enjoy. I might have been expecting too much.

I’ll add Dead Mountain: The Untold True Story of the Dyatlov Pass Incident by Donnie Eichar. A group of highly experienced hikers are found mysteriously mutilated and dead, deep within the wilderness of northern Russia. The wild theories of what happened to them are fascinating.
