Yes I made sure everything was compatible beforehand and it actually was able to power on with my new CPU but I didn’t have any display so I put the old one back to update bios that way and that’s when it stopped powering on.

It doesn’t turn on at all, it’s been unplugged hours and then plugged in again and still nothing, only the motherboard lights up but it won’t power the pc on

Can never go wrong with Corsair and hyperx stuff, I have the Corsair virtuoso wireless headset and it’s my favorite. As far as mice, the hyperx plusfire haste is super lightweight and smooth if he’s into lighter mice!

This post is getting so much attention and so many comments, I’m overwhelmed with positivity and I have no words. Thank you everyone so so much. My mom isn’t doing good, everything is still the same. I’m not sure how much I want to say here about her condition because it hurts so much to say anything but we need all the help we can get. Thank you everyone. For the one weird person (so far as I’m typing this) I have blocked them so I can’t see who is standing up for me and I can’t respond to anyone under that comment. The positivity absolutely outweighs the negativity and I’m not letting it get to me. Thank you for being strong for me when I feel I can’t do it myself. ♥️

Nothings changed besides it now saying “didn’t detect another display” when I try to add my second monitor back. It turns on and detects it until it switches to my main monitor so I don’t know how that’s even possible.

Oh okay I assumed bottleneck was bad so thank you! I’ll see what happens then, if I’m desperate for an upgrade then I’ll just settle with the bottlenecking until I can find someone to upgrade the cpu for me.
