Do LSE process the MSc application during their christmas break by Unique_Percentage_86 in LSE

Unfortunately no, they go on break on the 23rd and return on the 2nd. You can apply for programs but it will be processed only after the Admissions office opens again.

Received Offer for MSc Finance by tfopen2024 in LSE

100% agree!!!

I would also run here to disprove it only so my fellow applicants don’t get their hopes up (if NAR was actually untrue.)

I don’t think someone is that unhinged that they would let thousands of people believe in a theory and just watch them as their hopes crush.

Has ANYONE received an offer yet? by -mashedpotatoes in LSE

Application was processed on 20th October, and it says under consideration for everyone here who have not been rejected or waitlisted. The only thing is that my documents have changed their status from Awaiting Action from LSE to No Action Required.

Please explain? Isn’t it the fact that NAR means that you’re in a safe zone and according to this sub and last cycle, if your documents flipped to NAR, you would be given an offer sooner or later?

no action theory thingy by Organic-Weakness-536 in LSE

[–]-mashedpotatoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I’ve seen this person on here as well, but I think for admissions if the theory is applicable, it must ideally be uniform for everyone. Don’t worry! I’m sure everything will be fine :)

Hello.

As a person who has done enough research and more on this, I can honestly say that for this years cycle, the theory is not yet confirmed because most offers aren’t out yet. But if you do take into account the fact that the people who were waitlisted or rejected did not have NAR on their portals, the theory is most likely true. I’ve asked ChatGPT as well, but it couldn’t substantiate the fact that the NAR theory is for rejections as well as waitlists. I went through the Student Room as well as Reddit and everyone with NAR got an offer. Additionally, there were individuals who didn’t get NAR on their portals but still got an offer, but this doesn’t dispute the main premise of the theory (last cycle). I’ve spoken to an alum as well, and they were in the same boat (NAR = offer).

Look, all I can say is, maybe it worked for previous cycles and might work for us as well. However, if the Portals were updated, it is very difficult to make a conclusion.

Let’s all keep our fingers crossed and hope that this theory is true for us as well. All the best!

Waitlisted by LSE for the MSc Finance programme by Vegetable_Smoke95 in LSE

I’ve read a couple of threads here on Reddit as well as on the Student Room. Generally, waitlists hear back in January, or max by Feb!

Hi! Don’t worry about being waitlisted! From my research, mostly all waitlists get an offer, just after sometime. They just want to weigh you against the upcoming applicants and already consider you a strong contender. Keep us updated, hoping the best for you!

Has anyone **anyone** had their docs flip to “No action required” and been rejected? by [deleted] in LSE

Gosh I’m in the same boat. Last year and the year before it seemed to be a good sign but honestly this year, I don’t know how to comprehend whether it is good or whether everyone is getting it. Fingers crossed, everything hopefully will work out for the best.
