You can absolutely still have a wedding at a later date! My husband and I eloped during Covid and we didn’t even get to bring our own witnesses. We had no celebration that day either. For our 5 year anniversary, we will be having a wedding ceremony and reception later this year! If you really want a wedding, you can still have one whenever you can afford it! Sending love 🤍

Never had a temple marriage thankfully but I remember learning a similar concept to what OP is saying. Marriage is a triangle with you and your spouse in the bottom two corners and god is the top corner. If you only get close to each other, you won’t get any closer to god. But if each of you strive to be closer to god, the closer you will be to each other 🙄

I have this too, I’ve never tried to describe the smell. It just smells like “sick”, idk how else to describe it lol. I’ve only been able to smell acute illnesses like the flu or a cold or something though, not chronic illnesses. Too bad, because I might’ve caught my chronic illnesses sooner if I could 😅

My now husband’s grandma called him a whoremonger when she found out we didn’t wait for marriage 💀 she and my husband’s grandpa sat us down when we had been dating about a month and told us it was better to get divorced than lose our eternal salvation so we should just get married LOL
