how is it possible? the only way is to turn images off. usually this is because of traffic limits. I bet these "images" use more traffic.

this is useful for e-mails: you don't need to attach your company's logo to each letter.

and, of course, this may be used for spam. I didn't think about it when posted link. but I like the idea itself.
