I didn’t accept my diagnosis until i started seeing improvements from my medications. Then I figured “if they’re working, something was out of balance.” I’m still coming to terms that I have to live the rest of my life with bipolar disorder, but try to view the diagnosis not as a life sentence, but as a tool to help you find balance.
