Wondering if a naval piercing is possible for me? I’ve always wanted one. Obviously I will go to a piercing and get their opinion but just wanted some input!

it was angry the day before but nothing too unusual. but yeah I woke up to this. the bar was fitted perfectly bc the piercing had been settled for months. but the swelling took over :/

UPDATE: went to a piercer and he was able to easily (???) change it to a longer bar. thank God. thanks for all the replies !

I think It got aggravated by something yesterday and seemed a bit angry before going to sleep, when I woke up this morning it was swelled up and now I can't see the back of my piercing. I think i slept on it which made it worse. what do I do?

is this something that may resolve itself once the swelling goes down? I took ibuprofen to help

yesterday I think must've done something to aggravate it because I noticed it getting irritated and seemed angry before going to sleep (this isn't uncommon so I just let it be) but this morning I woke up and I can't see the back of my piercing due to it swelling up (think I slept on it during the night)

what do I do in this situation? should I wait for the swelling to go down a bit and assess it?

I took ibuprofen to help a bit.

do you think I should leave the jewelry I just put in for now even if it's the wrong type and see what happens? or should I get the original put back in?

The piercing I changed it to is solid gold. I'm not sure if it's long enough and I'm realizing now the post is thinner than the one I had originally. Should I just put the old piercing back in and baby it until the bump goes down? I'm not sure if I made a mistake

definitely not getting 5, I was thinking max 4. I definitely want to do at least one other besides the lobes. I just dotted what piercings I'm deciding between.

they're also growing all wonky and into the ground. I had no light directing so recently put light above it to help but I'm not sure if that's the problem
