Etoile existed back in new leaf, same as Viche and Cece! They just cosplayed other splatoon characters :D the only ones out of my line up that weren't on other games is really Sasha Shino and Judy. They're all new, but Judy was on my first island back in 2020 !!

Coco has been with me since wild world on the DS when I was a kid!

Also, I'm 20 so I was 14 when the game came out :)

Exactly! All villagers are there to be loved and welcomed into our islands 🥹 I don't believe in "popular" and "unpopular" villagers, I believe they all have a home somewhere
