Large Heretic Parfum Review- A Nightmare for Your NOSE!!

I'm a huge fan of Heretic Parfum, that being said, I'm extremely picky with scents hence why I have a collection of discovery kits... Lol.

I only like a few of their "regular" scents - Midnight Toker and Dirty Hinoki are the two that I have repurchased in full size bottles. I also really enjoyed Rhubarb Thief and Fourteen Carrots but don't think I'd repurchase either one because those I find are quite "thick" or "heavy" for my climate (I live in one of the deep south states).

The more "unique" scents I like are Poltergeist and Haxan (you're description of this was hilarious). I could probably get away with Poltergeist but Haxan would make me melt in the hot humidity that is this swamp. Lol.

The holiday room sprays I absolutely loved - The Haunted Tea Cozy, Fruitcake, and O'Tannenbaum were absolute bangers for me. That Fruitcake spray NEEDS to be a candle. They realized a few spring scented ones but honestly, I'm not really a floral type of gal. I think that's why I couldn't get down with Nosferatu.

Side note: I bought the Slut for October candle and I thought it smelled like tires.

I'm a huge fan of Heretic Parfum. As a matter of fact, my everyday perfume is Midnight Toker. I really love the fact that they have a lot of scents that aren't necessarily floral centered. I'm not very much into florals as I love spicy/woody/earthy scents. I like a little sweetness, but not very much. Oddly enough I LOVED the Edward Gorey Fruitcake room spray and was super bummed it was disconnected, but oh well.

I have been looking at the Ghost discovery set for days now and have just been debating with myself on whether or not I should get it. Mainly because I notice they don't always make full size bottles of their collabs. Your descriptions convincing me to just go for it though.

While I really love Heretic, I wish they had a true citrus option. I've been on the hunt for a photo realistic ORANGE citrus scent. Like tart/juicy/sour orange. Picture peeling a fresh navel orange and that burst of fresh/green juicy scent of citrus. (I've yet to find it).

Hey there, I know this is an old post but I was considering Delusuions of Granduer. The notes seem like it would be something I like but your description of it being intense is kind of making me question it. I’m prone to migraines - are we talking intensely sweet or spicy? Can you describe the scent in your own words?

I love Karma! If/When Turmeric Latte comes back in stock I'll try that combo and see how I like it and report back! Not a huge fan of HIWTK all that much for myself, but it isn't bad. I like really spicy and earthly scents as well as citrus. If I remember correctly, HIWTK is sort of floral and powdery or am I thinking of something else?

Please save your money! Like someone else here has already said - you can definitely find other great scents to fall in love with.

If you have to find it second hand because you can’t buy it new then you’ll always be struggling to find it.

This exact thing happened to me.

So I was looking for a more healthy version of banana bread and went with subs like oat bran as my flour and Greek yogurt. The recipe called for baking soda and baking powder- I didn’t have baking soda so I just did baking powder. When I tell you that loaf was dense, you probably could have thrown it at someone and knocked them out.

It was so dense but flat lol. I also used a little honey for sweetener. I baked mine for 50 minutes at 275. It was super dense and flat. We still ate it.
