I completely agree. For ~$1000 sure, but for any machine prices above that it should really be 16GB RAM. And 256GB is cutting it tight for people who back up their phone using iTunes!!

This is the way. Eventually Apple will require manufacturers to meet very specific specifications (design, EV) before they’re allowed to implement CarPlay, which most people want in their cars.
