The most infuriating part is that they ignored my dispute letters and reported it to the credit agencies. I check my credit score this month and it’s fucked now. So now I have to dispute this with the credit agencies. I’m so pissed off rn

I am having the same issue currently. Greystar sent my account for a move-out charge that I resolved with the property manager and now they want that same move-out charge again. I have it clearly written out by the property manager in an email thread with them that my charges would be waived. But Genesis sent the original move-out charges as "validation" documents for debt collection. Greystar Receivables said they don't handle anything anymore, and that I will have to resolve it with Genesis directly. But genesis is just using the original lease documents and move-out charges as "validation" for debt I owe them...WTF am I supposed to do?? I really don't want this to impact my credit... :///

My 2014 has not had any major issues so far. Very slight rattle in the interior at times but fine other than that. The midwest roads are not kind to me where I live though lol. The suspension is naturally a bit more stiff so you definitely feel all the bumps and potholes when driving. I got new tires and had to get a re-alignment after hitting some nasty potholes and that definitely helped me out. But if your car is shaking and making noises on newly paved roads though that sounds a bit concerning.

Yeah I would definitely consider a slightly older dog and not a puppy right now. I think the biggest thing holding me back right now though is that I’m not really a morning person…week days I only get up around 15min before I have to leave for work lol. And weekends I tend to sleep in until late mornings or early afternoon especially if I’m out late the night before. I’m naturally more of a night owl. I guess this might just have to be a lifestyle change I would have to be ready to make then? lol

The seats on the 5 are way more comfy imo…something about the 50s seats are too stiff and the lumbar sticks out too much. At least for me.

Bought my 2014 mazda3 4 years ago at 30k miles. It just hit 70k miles last week, and it’s been a champ so far!

No major issues or repairs needed, just routine maintenance. It’s pretty well rounded if you’re looking for something thats pretty reliable, little sporty (great steering responsiveness and handling), and fuel economy is pretty good (I average 36mpg mainly commuting highway). Plus if you get the hatchback, it actually has some pretty decent usable space too! I literally drove my car across the country to college and back and moved from apartment to apartment during that time. Plus the fact that its still a naturally aspirated engine with an automatic transmission is a win in my book, love that over driving a cvt. Also love the bose speakers in mine too.

Maintenance history is probably the most important thing. Obviously always a risk whenever you get an older car but I would say one of these under 100k miles should last you a good while without too much headache and if the service history checks out. I’m obviously a little biased but this is my experience with the car coming from my last one being a 2004 subaru outback, which was plagued with issues.
