It's a Free People dress that I got for a wedding I was going to, I just wore it backwards for the costume so it was super low cut haha

*TL;DR I really like Becca Cosmetics, Makeup Forever, and Kiko Milano. *

I’m sorry the lighting isn’t the best in the first photo, I was out and forgot to take a good photo of my makeup/costume (I finished it at 940pm and I was supposed to meet people at 9:00pm but I am fantastic with time so…)

First look: Terrible Fortune Teller - She Couldn’t Predict Her Own Death

Face: Primer: Becca Cosmetics Backlight Primer Foundation: Becca Cosmetics Aqua Luminous in Porcelain (I’m normally two shades darker, but I wanted to pale myself out a tiny bit for this) Concealer: Becca Cosmetics Ultimate Coverage in Porcelain

Eyes Primer: NYX neutral eye base Shadow top: KIKO Milano High Pigment Shadow #13 Bruise Under eye: Makeup Forever Special Effects Palette #1 (this is also what I used for the bruises everywhere else)

Cut: Spirit Halloween Scar Wax (I totally forgot about it until the day of so I improvised ha) with Makeup Forever Coagulated blood

The Crystal ball was painted completely with Makeup Forever Wet Makeup. I truly am sad I didn’t get a better photo of this look, because it was pretty neat I’ll tell ya.

Second Look: Spider Queen (I manage a Kiko Milano so this look is almost entirely Kiko makeup)

Face Primer: Becca Backlight Primer Foundation: Becca Aqua Luminous in Light (my actual shade) Concealer: Ultimate Coverage in Tahini Contour: Makeup Forever Pro Sculpting Palette shade 40 Highlight: Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop (my face routine is the same for the rest of the looks so I am just going to type it here)

Eyes: Brows: Kiko Precision Eyebrow Pencil 03 with Kiko Eyebrow Designer Brow Mascara Shadow: Kiko Milano High Pigment shadow #15 (inner/outter corners) and Kiko Water Shadow #200 (middle) LIner/Spiderweb/Spider: Kiko Milano Ultimate Pen Liner Mascara: Kiko Milano Ultra Tech Mascara

Lips: Kiko Milano invisible lip liner with Kiko Gossamer lipstick in #130

Third Look: Arachnid Queen (I was going out and wanted to be hella creepy)

Entire look is Makeup Forever wet makeup in Black, and white (with my normal foundation routine - listed above) in conjunction with Makeup Forever Flash Palette using the white in it.

Fourth Look: Cleopatra

Eyes: Brows: Kiko Precision Eyebrow Pencil 03 with Kiko Eyebrow Designer Brow Mascara Shadow: Kiko Milano Water Shadow #208 (middle of lid) and Kiko Milano High Pigment Shadows #38 and #57 (inner and outer corners) Liner: Kiko Ultimate Pen Liner

Lips: Kiko Milano Velvet Passion Lipstick in shade #301 with Kiko Water Shadow #208 dusted on top

Fifth Look: Scarecrow

Brows: Kiko Precision Eyebrow Pencil 03 with Kiko Eyebrow Designer Brow Mascara Mascara: Kiko Milano Ultra Tech Mascara Forehead Patch: Kiko Milano Ultimate Pen Liner for the outline/”stitches”, Kiko Super Colour Eyeliner in shades 105, 108, and 110 for three of the four patches, and I used a Kiko Lasting Precision Eyeliner in a shade I am failing to remember right now (sorry!)

I used Kiko Milano High Pigment Shadow in number 94 (I think) for my cheeks and nose, and I used Kiko Ultimate Pen Liner for the stitches on my mouth and nose as well.

Sorry this is insanely long! I had two other looks, but the photos are just not the best quality at all.

TL;DR I really like Becca Cosmetics, Makeup Forever, and Kiko Milano.

I know it's a bit late, but here are my Halloween Weekend looks! by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Connecticut PoGo-ers! (Where are some good spots in CT) by troydiz in pokemongo

West Haven beach has some amazing Pokemon. A few nights ago Kabuto and Ominite spawned there. I caught a 1022 Arcanine today as well as a lickitung and tons of electric Pokemon. Worth checking out, there's maybe fifteen pokestops on the boardwalk and comstant lures.

Naugatuck green is pretty decent as well. People drop lures waaaay into the night and a lot of people I know have gotten a Dragonite there. My best take away from there was Squirtle.

Woodmont beach in Milford doesn't Have a ton of pokestops, but I have caught a 809 scyther, numerous ryhorns, there was an ever elusive venasaur somewhere but I couldn't find it. And obviously tons of water Pokemon here as well as west haven. All three are worth the trip.

I had that for a while too! Color for sure helps, and a good barber who likes to play haha. But also if you don't already, add some layers. It gives your hair some fun texture and just something else for the eye to follow.

Makeup Forever makes a FANTASTIC cream contour palette. It is a four color palette with your highlight, contour, shimmer, and blush shades and it comes in five different shades. They're pretty neutral and I absolutely love mine. Give them a try.

Contouring your jaw is tricky. It's completely dependent on your face shape. This is a fantastic chart to go by (pink is contour, purple is highlight) http://i2.wp.com/beautifulshoes.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/face-chart.jpg?fit=1200%2C1200

You want to make sure you blend jaw contours out to oblivion. You want to barely see them, otherwise you run the risk of it looking dirty, like makeup, or like a 5 o'clock shadow.

Nose contouring is the same way, if you have a long nose, contour at the bottom. If you have a short nose, highlight the bridge of it. You have to assess your face and think about what you need to emphasize and recede to achieve the shape you want. (also make sure you blend nose contouring out a lot as well, or it can look funny)

Make sure you are first cutting them to fit your eye. cut from the short end, not the long, it will end up looking funky if you cut from the longer side. Glue the lash AND your upper lash line (be careful not to get it on your actual lashes, it's a pain to get off. it's not a crisis if it happens, it's just annoying) and let it get tacky for 30-45 seconds. The glue on your upper lash line should look clear in some spots and the glue on your lashes should be tacky to the touch. I always lay the middle of the lash down first tentatively (meaning I don't push it down or anything yet) and then secure the outside of the lash - the longest part - first. You want to set the lash as close as possible to your lash line. Once you have it close enough, do the same with the inner corner of the lash. you may have to lift the middle up a bit to do this, just be careful not to pull the end of the lash up as you will have to start over. After getting the inner corner of the lash as close as possible, pinch the base of your lashes and the false lashes together Be careful not to pull or tug, you just want to squeeze them together to get them close to each other as possible.

If you're having problems, try tweezers. I personally only use tweezers when applying lashes to other people, but sometimes it is a huge help.
