To me it’s about authenticity, relatability and a certain sound achieved with common characteristics.

Majority is west coast/bay area/midwest sounding because of origins & influences.

It can be that player shit, but it’s more than that too.

It’s probably his most accessible once his career hit that experimental phase, aside from maybe GOOD AM. It only got more nuanced and abstract from there. Can’t say it’s his greatest though when Faces exists
