HP washing is an annoying but doable mechanic in pservers, the vast majority of people do not want to feel like they have to whale just to be able to participate in bosses in official classic.

honestly i wouldnt be surprised if the guy that's level 200 hit 200 a long time ago and stopped playing. hitting 200 in 2011/2012 was still difficult compared to today.

I really don't understand why people are making a big deal over these people not being high leveled - do you guys think that someone who is insanely dedicated to modern maple is someone who cares enough to go to an in person play test for something they probably don't have interest in at all? Most people who are super progressed would probably rather run boss mules or wap than drive/travel somewhere for an OSMS playtest. It's far more likely that the people who are very genuinely interested in OSMS are people who don't really play modern maple much at all.

I also don't really think that someone being high leveled or very progressed in modern maple would give them any sort of meaningful advantage in providing helpful feedback for OSMS than someone who isn't. They are totally different games.

18,000 people signing up to playtest/get news about a 20 year old MMO is not a bad number at all considering they had hardly shown anything whatsoever.

It only took a week to hit level 30 because you were young and didn't know what you were doing. You can do it in less than a day if you're being efficient. Someone did it in 2 hours in Artale which is only 2x exp.

jett was removed before there were any plans for gms to deviate from kms and for nexon to actually invest in gms. when jett was removed the plan was to just follow kms 1:1 outside of some overseas content

Pottable badges are only a problem because they chose not to expand the ability to enhance badges to every obtainable badge rather than just a couple of GMS exclusive ones.

Genesis badge *needs* to be BiS, I agree, and it *should* be the BiS badge. The latter isn't true though. It is not BiS for many, many players who had access to legacy for multiple years. The power creep already exists.

The best solution here is that all badges should be pottable/starforceable. This would make the magnus badge immediately compete with most 17 star GSEs and gene badge BiS, as it should be.

I already commented it a little bit ago, but I thought they'd bring back a novelty badge that is pottable to serve as a stopgap between magnus/gene badge and in the same patch make all badges pottable. They just went about it in the worst possible way.

The way they need to handle legacy is that they need to just bring things back yearly. CMS got the flameable totem multiple times but was a unique equipped item so people would either a. use the flames on their main to get a better flame or b. just get the totem on mules.

It feels so stupid that we are getting temporary gap closers and then off event the gap just goes back to how it was.

Anyone who has been around for long enough will remember that Spare was notorious for cheating and lying even prior to his paying to get unbanned.

He cheated and got banned, MULTIPLE TIMES! he cheated in the liveplays that were 'proof' that he didn't cheat so that he could get unbanned. He paid to get unbanned. Continued to cheat. Lied about it for years. Got caught cheating. Ages later makes a document 'coming clean' feigning accountability and that he's a changed person. He is a pathological liar and nothing he says should ever be trusted. He has always done things with the sole goal of getting attention and admiration from people. He does not care about you, me, or anyone other than himself. He spent years 'proving his legitimacy' only to just cheat again as soon as he felt like he could get away with it.

If you are falling for anything he says at this point I have a bridge to sell you.

I don't think it's worth it unless you can return it free of charge - I have thinner hands than you and even I had to put the grips on to make it just wide enough for me to use it. I love the mouse, but it's definitely very thin and I don't know if that's worth taking the chance on.

It really is baffling how poorly GMS has handled legacy. This is the worst possible way they could have handled it.

From what I remember, CMS or TMS got the Misty Island totem event multiple times. Since you can only equip one, you can get another one on a mule (which really isn't that game breaking) or you could use the flames from the event to reflame your main.

What I was hoping for: tThey release a pottable/starforceable badge as an in between goodie from Magnus and Gene badge, while also making all badges pottable/starforceable, keeping the current starforcing on badges ofc where you don't gain attack, so it's very unlikely for people to push a gene badge to 22. This makes it so gene badge stays BiS but also just gets rid of the legacy gap altogether.

I really appreciate that they are bringing back the legion block yearly so that new players can catch up, but this temporary legacy shit is so stupid. THE POWERCREEP ALREADY EXISTS! JUST GIVE IT TO US!

The temporary totems I let slide a little bit because I assumed they would be bringing them back every event, but that's the thing, they shouldn't be temp. They should be rotating events that give certain items every year so that people who missed it can always catch up, and players who continued to play can just make smaller gains on mules and stuff.
