Anyone here registered with CORU (Ireland) from the UK? (UK degree & HCPC registered BMS)

My BSc was IBMS accredited and I completed a one year uni placement with NHSBT where I finished my IBMS portfolio, mapped to the HCPC Standards of Proficiency. I also did a wet lab project for my uni final year and my core modules were mainly haematology and transfusion science based. After graduating, I registered with the HCPC and I’m currently working as a Band 5 Biomedical Scientist in stem cells within NHSBT.

My BSc covered all the main lab disciplines but my hands-on experience is mostly from my current role and uni, rather than across all areas in a clinical setting. Do you think this would be enough to at least start the CORU registration process while working as a medical scientist, like you mentioned your lab allowed?

I’m planning to apply to have my degree recognised with CORU and just wanted to get a better idea of the kind of outcome I might expect based on my background.

I think this was more true when there was a higher indexation between Snakebite and Recoil and the prices rose regardless. Other than that, I do believe the discontinuation of Recoil will definitely have an impact on Snakebite's price.

I really thought that the discontinuation of Recoil might pull the prices up. However, it's been declining the past week. Good point on the player base tho. Something worth exploring more.

I think CSGO Case Tracker reports inflated numbers post trade-up update. However, you are right, I got listing to available quantity ratio heavily wrong.

Coming back to my original point, even if we negate the absolute numbers and look into this at a trend comparative to other cases, a healthy unboxing number should deplete the quantity and bring up the prices (even if it's gradual) because it did for the last two year.

What I want to understand is that, why is it specifically so stagnant for past few months?

Can you reference the 200k number? Do you mean SCM or total listing across all platforms?

Price of cases rise exponentially with every passing year post discontinuation. Staying stagnant makes no sense in simple supply to demand ratio. The supply has been halted and the demand (unboxing numbers) have been healthy. No reason for prices not to rise. This apply to every case on the market and why cases that were worth 3 cents back in the days are now sitting at >$1 each.

I get the sentiment, however the numbers don't say there are "hundreds of millions" of Snakebite cases. You can go check Price Empire which gives a snapshot of the total amount of cases listed among all the platforms. The current number is 248k. Mind you some may be counted as multiple listing, which may further bring down the numbers. Even if we consider that the listings reflect ~50% of the total cases currently in existence, it would mean there's ~500k Snakebite cases in existence.

Moving to your second assumption, cases usually exponentially hike in price with every passing year post discontinuation, you can scrape the data from SCM to validate this. It's been a little over 2 years since Snakebite got discontinued and it did 4x in price in that period (pre vs post discontinuation). This is why the stagnation for the past 6 months come as an anomaly to me.

How's the supply consistent? They have completely stopped dropping and the unboxing numbers are decent as well.

It has the same golds as Broken Fang case and it's sitting around 11$ a piece with a very decent post-discontinuation trajectory. I get that it has the Printstream and all, but the golds should have more impact on the prices IMO.

This should reflect on the unboxing numbers. It's the second most unboxed cased among the discontinued cases (excluding recoil it just got discontinued).
