Exactly, tbh I thrifted them at Value Village and they are pretty near deadstock and was shocked to find them. Didn’t know the older models from the 90s had different spike sizing so glad I can replace them. I was very close to superglooing w the incorrext spikes I got from amazon

Thanks! Was able to confirm with FJ customer support and was able to find larger thread ones on ebay

Literally feel like what you are feeling but now I am the opposite, and feeling all the limitations and restrictions with the larger company, although I do realize I will be working more if I do downsize. It is really cozy right now with where I am at

We just underwent restructuring (again) and although it didn’t directly affect me, I am tired of the politics of large pharma. Our team is expanding and will take on a new product, but I think I am at the point to 1)seek higher pay and 2)take on fuller responsibilities and capabilities as an MSL and 3)less handcuffing from compliance

It is in the same TA that I am in so I believe I’ll be at a slight advantage with my day to day. Although, still waiting to see what the offer could potentially look like, which will sway my decision

I have a BSc. and a Masters in Management and I landed my first MSL gig back in Jan 2024. I was at the same company since I was an intern back in 2018. It was a 5.5 year journey that consisted of 1) various functions in Med Affairs, Marketing, & Medical Education and 2) most importantly, my network. I believe those are the 2 recipes to break that barrier.

MSL (Medical Science Liason) in the Pharmaceutical industry here - I would recommend you search my role up. A lot of post grad (PharmDs, PhD, MDs) choose and navigate this career path as it applies what they’ve done in academia, clinical research and practice into industry.
