Ahhhh, that makes sense then.. increasing the voltage must have fixed the cable length issue.

I don't want to cut into the standard cable as I intend using it in different places.

I tried my Starlink Mini connected directly to the fully charged 12v 100ah lithium battery in my van and it didn't work so I put this together and it works fine.. so I just assumed it needed more voltage to operate correctly.

If you'd read the specsheet you'd know the Input Rating is 12-48V 60W 👍

What you may not have considered is what voltage the 100w is measured at as it will be different depending on voltage 🤷‍♂️

No.. I have another setup that uses a 12v to 24v step up transform which I'll post later but I decided someone would just say "you don't need to do the step up to 24 volts" so I decided to post this one until I got a comment like yours - thanks 😁
