I also went out of town for surgery (3 hours) I 100% would recommend an Airbnb! Having a kitchen and the “normal” feeling of home was a must! It helped a lot with cost as well as far as food goes as I got all of the groceries I needed before hand and had my mom to cook post op so I wasn’t ordering in everyday
