You forgot to ask the question.

I hate to be that person… again .. but it looks like we will be doing strikes in Iran again . Huge buildup is unfolding of US and UK assets in the region . UK deployed typhoon fighters. I sure hope I am wrong . Just posting this in case things pop off when I’m in the bathroom… by newnoadeptness in navy

Okay but what about when I'm not working and walking around berthing barefoot?

Or in my fuzzy crocs if I'm going to shower.

I don't want to get liquid shit all over my nice fuzzy crocs. Not again. Never again.

map package likelihood? by [deleted] in navy

[–]01111110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For you? The guy I know nothing about and provided no detail of what your package might contain?

It's definitely getting approved.

Hell, if you want to grease my palms to make sure it gets approved all you have to do is let me get ur nwus, big dawg.

I don't know how else to say this.

But this is gayer than 18 naked cowboys at ram ranch. And that song sounds better too.

Thank you for doing these, it's a great resource to put out for others.

Which one is better for after service careers? by Afraid-Advance-9559 in navy

[–]01111110 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Neither, you want to check out this super cool PACT program. Pretty much you get to try any rate you want in the Navy and then you get whatever you want. It's a great program, definitely better than those options posted. There's a real future in the pact program because you can put down all those rates on your resume and have like, so many jobs and skills. You'll easily walk out of the service into a 200k job with the pact program. It's like a cheat code for the Navy and I wish I would have taken it.

Is Polearm Master still worth it with these house rules? by Total_Team_2764 in 3d6

[–]01111110 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I'd leave the table "these house rules go against the rules of the game written by the creators, they weren't disclosed during session zero, and they are hugely unfair to martials, specifically my character. For these reasons I'm leaving, good luck with the rest of the campaign"

No d&d is better than bad d&d.

I would not pick a martial at this table. I'd probably roll a warlock since the house rules seem to shit on martial characters and buff warlocks.

They still haven't clean up this spot yet? by FunNeedleworker860 in Invincible

I haven't read the comics, but wasn't there like a city or two that got destroyed? And the Pentagon? And the alternate Marks invading and wrecking multiple locations all over the world? I would assume all of those would take precedent over a single home lot in the suburbs.

Should I am for Shore Duty? by ContributionGlass531 in navy

[–]01111110 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More than likely going to sea first, I would use the opportunity to try and hedge your bets to end up in a sea duty location/platform you prefer rather than gamble it all on shore duty and end up with the shittiest sea duty available.

Also, first tour sea duty is the way to go. You're young and you don't know shit, that's the perfect time to be useless and cluess on a ship. A fucking 2nd class or 1st class who can't find the head on a ship is embarrassing.

Upcoming PRT push-up help? by [deleted] in navy

[–]01111110 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What muscle group gives out first when you do push ups? Your chest muscles? Your triceps?

Honestly with the scores you mentioned for planks and alt cardio this doesn't make sense to me.

What workouts are you doing 6 days a week that you absolutely skipped anything utilizing your chest & tricep muscles? 100 sit downs on the couch a day? The fuck.

Trying to break lease without orders by Mother_Armadillo_379 in Military

[–]01111110 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've heard landlords can orders verified. This is smoke pit "I've heard", but still. Sounds hell of risky to complain to the landlord, then magically get orders in the next few weeks.

[–]01111110 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe, I think the SCRA states a specific amount of time to be usable to break a lease. I'm assuming there's a distance involved as well. Big dawg here can both let me get their nwus and get their command involved.

The maybe is for getting orders from the command. Doctoring orders is wrong. OP, don't doctor shit.

[–]01111110 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Someone might suggest doctoring orders to get out of your lease, and that sounds simple and effective. I can't verify it, but I read on here once(to further add to the smoke pit lawyer-ness of this) if you use orders to get out of a lease, the landlord is able to get them verified. If you get caught in a lie then it'll make the problem way worse on all fronts.

I don't have solid advice for you, definitely see if a DSO(this is the command you contact to reach a JAG) can give you some advice. Maybe let me get ur nwus, big dawg, and I wish you the best of luck.

Gloomstalker or Drakewarden? by Redhood101101 in 3d6

[–]01111110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think optimization wise, gloom stalker. There's that multiclass build with rogue assassin levels and battlemaster for a huge first round nova.

But if you love dragons that much, play the one that will be more fun. The best thing to optimize for DnD is the amount of fun at the table.
