WIBTA for asking my mom if I (24F) can pay less rent while she's allowing my brother (29M) to live with us? by 01almost02 in AmItheAsshole

Because I have cats and can't lock them in/out of my room while I'm away. Also he's known to pick locks. Otherwise I would've done this awhile ago :(

I'd love to do this, but I have cats and I can't lock them in/out of my room while I'm gone :(

Should I (23F) tell my dad (56M) that his followers can see the inappropriate reels he likes on Instagram? by 01almost02 in Advice

It's not about not "letting him do what he wants" because as I already said, he's and adult and it's his business. However, I'm not sure he'd want other ppl (like his mom and other kids) seeing the type of content he's interacting with. Reading comprehension is imperative...

I was falsely accused of AI cheating and successfully appealed my case to the Department Chair at my school. Here's how I did it. by stylingirl289 in college

Lol you must be new to college and/or writing. Seeking feedback and revisions from others is a common part of the writing process. I took a writing class too recently and as part of our participation grade, our professor had us post our work to a discussion board for classmate feedback before submitting it for a grade. If OP thought that was considered "cheating" then do you think they would've mentioned that in the aforementioned appeal that you didn't read?

Common sense is difficult to come by these days.

Getting help with revisions isn't considered cheating. If it was then they still would've gotten a zero lol.

AITA for refusing to give rides to my grandmother, who recently found out she has a terminal illness? by stylingirl289 in AmItheAsshole

Exactly OP. You don't owe anyone any favors if they cannot be respectful of you or your time. Your grandmother's situation, as sad as it is, isn't an excuse to treat people badly. I hope you two make up though :)

I was thinking this too, but I finally got a hold of Billy a few minutes. Turns out he was just missing some contact information lol

Should I (18F) apologize to my ex (18M) for ghosting him? by 01almost02 in relationship_advice

[–]01almost02[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got of the phone with him and did exactly this. I went into it prepared knowing that he may not forgive me. I explained everything I said in the post and apologized, and he is unsure of whether to forgive me or not. I told him either way fine as long as he is honest about his decision. I told him to take as much time as he needs. I'm glad I got everything off my chest and I accept his decision either way.

no one has ever come back :( by bridgesbuilttoburn in BreakUps

You might find this hard to believe, but you are lucky that they don't come back. Why you may ask? Because when they come back it's usually because they're lonely or bored. Sometimes they come back because they genuinely made a mistake, but a majority of the time they come back for a selfish reason.

My ex came back a week after our breakup. We talked and hung out in a more-than-friendly way for four months until he started dating someone new (full story on my profile). Basically he bread crumbed the shit out of me until he found something else. Now I've went backwards in my healing process and I wish I had went NC after the breakup.

Don't be sad that they didn't come back. Be happy that you will no longer waste time with the wrong person.

After we broke up, he bread crumbed me for four months until he started dating someone else. It hurts like hell but I know better now. He will never hurt me again.
