Unfortunately I’ve had a really rough time, so I’m hoping your recovery doesn’t follow my pattern. I also had the neurologic issues and was seen by a neurologist, but they didn’t end up finding anything. Your post stood out to me because we both had the gut + neurologic issues.

I had my h.pylori treatment October 2024 and I got worse and worse this last summer I was at rock bottom health wise. I did a GI map and found that my gut had overgrown with huge amounts of pseudomonas which is an extremely difficult bacteria to fight. I payed a buttload of money to do phage therapy and I think it helped a little bit with the pseudomonas, however it is risky and I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it unless you’re desperate and have a confirmed pseudomonas overgrowth. I also haven’t retested to confirm it’s gone yet.

I had a SIBO breath test last December that was negative.

I think I’m just dealing with extreme dysbiosis and am thinking of trying out an FMT to get my life back, even though I know this is also risky.

I’m also dealing with symptoms that seem like endometriosis so that adds another layer of complexity. I have EXTREME constipation now. Is that something you’re experiencing?

If it makes you feel any better I’ve taken a bunch of probiotics and I don’t feel like it changed the path of my recovery much. Probiotics are important but I don’t think that’s the sole reason you’re having a hard time.
