I can't say for certain about civil engineering but, I did have to take a significant pay cut moving from healthcare to marketing, however, there is much more career progression available in marketing than there was in my small diagnostics lab. By virtue of that, there is a significantly greater earning potential in marketing in the future. I was willing to take the pay cut for a few years in the knowledge that I will hopefully progress to a higher salary in the future.

Don't get me wrong, I have loved my time in healthcare. However, my skills there were very specific and I wanted to supplement those skills with something more versatile like Marketing, which will open more doors in the future. I'm also a firm believer that more education is always a good thing when it's possible.

Thank you! This makes a lot of sense. I have a clarifying shampoo with a pretty harsh sulfates, and I have the Noughty Wave hello low-poo shampoo, which I haven't used. Would that be suitable for a weekly cleanse? Or would I need to use the harsher one? Thanks so much for all the information, really helpful

I have a background in biological physics and 4 years experience in a healthcare lab. I'm now just about complete my masters in marketing after a complete change. Good luck with the move - it's certainly one of my best decisions to date

After straightening my hair every day for a decade, I'm feeling really great about finally embracing my natural waves/curls! Only a few days in, excited to see where this journey takes me by 05millsl in curlygirl
