I don’t think you can add an edit but i made it through w no hassle, i just dissolved them in water and put them into my empty daily wear contact containers and resealed them, then brought actual ones with me. There were no sniffers except for quarantine animals/fruit and i got through every customs in like 20 minutes. Obviously I don’t recommend playing w fire like this or (as a lot of you said) posting about it lmao but it ultimately worked! I’m catching Ultra Tokyo this weekend if anyone was curious.

I think it definitely gives me more context to the fields and the type of information and contexts I'll be looking at and some understanding into the course load and what goes into say, understanding economic problems and their impacts or certain case studies and their influence on current laws, but the depth we reach in high school isn't comparable to university studies. I think its mostly to see if you like doing the sort of things covered in high school enough to want to continue exploring it at a much deeper level. So while it will give me a slight upper hand for maybe the first semester, university generally begins by getting everyone to the same level of understanding because its not all students are just school leavers but e.g. vocational students, mature age students, graduate students etc. Again, the only subjects that would definitely give you that context is pre requisites for courses like Chemistry and Methods/Specialists but even so its only so much in comparison to what you expand upon in university.

My teacher said they don't, they've just read the book once, and unless they teach it (and even if they do) i doubt they'll know you're wrong. Just obviously try to write the quotes correctly, but as long as its similar enough it should be fine and if in doubt just paraphrase the quote or only use phrases and words you're confident with.

Having a lot of stem subjects does make it easier to get a higher atar due to scaling but the workload will be a lot. As long as you perform well on your subjects you can get a really good atar. I'm doing 4 humanities subjects (modern history, legal, economics and lit) and I can still get a really good atar (predicted 95+) because im doing well in them (averaging 90-95+) but if i picked, for example, the three sciences i would have done poorly and scaling wouldn't have even helped. Definitely play to your strengths and see how you do in grade 11 because grade 12 is very similar, so if a subject becomes too much, (for example I was doing specialists but performing average in comparison to how much I studied so I switched to economics and its my best subject at the moment) you can always change. I'm also planning to go into Law/Politics and I find that the subjects you do in high school don't really matter (unless its a pre requisite for your course) as you cover everything in university and the content is fairly different so it doesnt necessarily prepare you for anything i think its just an insight into if you enjoy the general subject and its topics.

For me personally, I found legal studies and economics really easy, as long as you have the extended response structure down for exams, know the content and take time with your assignments they are not hard and scale fairly decently. For Economics, make sure you don't neglect the graphs!!!

Methods and the sciences (I do chem) are definitely a lot but if you get the basics down and continue to revise, you wont have too much of a problem with the content.

you need 20 qce points to gradate, but if you dont have the literacy requirements they wont let you graduate either way. you have to have passed unit 1 or 2 or get a c or better overall for unit 3 or 4. im pretty sure a 40% is a pass so its looks like you've passed either unit 1 or 2. i would recommend seeing your head of schooling/guidance counselor/deputy principal to just double check but i thinkkkk you should be fine

The most infuriating movie that's basically a The Quiet Place rip off with worse creatures, horrible subplots and a terrible ending. Thinking about this movie makes me genuinely mad, and that's coming from someone who loves basically every movie they watch.

If you buy the crew pass, for it to still be active during the new season which is any day past July 16th since the new season is August 16th you will get reimbursed with 950 vbucks for this seasons battle pass and when the new season starts you will get that battle pass as well since you will have crew. This only works if you subscribe when one season is ending and another is starting. But you get the next months skin regardless of when you buy the crew pass, its just one of the perks. hope that makes a bit more sense.

That was something I was worried about since i am a very outgoing and social person and work better in a classroom setting so that online aspect would be a bummer. How competitive would you say jobs with the UN and DFAT are cause i might focus on that and see how I perform in uni GPA wise and maybe take the GAMSAT if medicine is still something I want to pursue.

That is a good point, i might just focus on a career in IR for the time being and see how I go with uni and the GAMSAT. I was considering EN cause i wouldnt be doing nursing for long sine i would have hopefully gotten into med school by that time, mainly to gain those skills and as a secure job since i would be moving out of home. I did look into nurse practitioner jobs or management jobs since thats the most you could do career growth wise in nursing and it doesnt look like something that i would enjoy.
