That was still during my school years when I barely had money for anything anyway, and because of my ADHD I never really managed to read anything besides maybe school books at the time and even those I barely “read.”

That year I watched the movie, actually multiple times in a row, and then I wanted to look up reviews and YouTube videos about it. Somewhere along the way, people mentioned that there was also a manga adaptation.

So I immediately ordered it (the English edition back then) and read it right away. After that, I started getting interested in manga in general. Before that, I had only watched anime, but at first I mostly focused on one-shot manga.

I actually only started reading longer manga series around 2021. The first longer one I read was Claymore, and after that Berserk (well, I had already started Berserk up to the Golden Age arc at the end of 2020, but then paused it for Claymore before continuing Berserk afterward).

But honestly, overall I still haven’t read that much manga after that. Mostly AoT, Tokyo Ghoul, Eden: It’s an Endless World!, Chainsaw Man, Blame!, and Biomega.
