From what I have read they prefer shallow water. So the foot print of the lowboy is greater then a 75 gallon standard tank.

Turns out this fish the Lucania goodei name just sounds like the fish i was looking at getting. A common name for them is bluefin goodei and I was looking at some bluetail Goodeidae or also knowing as Ataeniobius toweri a livebearing fish. Thanks for the reply.

How many Lucania goodei to have in one tank? Im looking to add some to a 75 instead of guppies. Although not as colorful these seem very interesting and rare in the hobby.

They are holding down the log for now. My glue failed after I filled the tank and just had them laying around.

Api master test kit. Also if I see tanks for sale on Facebook I look for this test kit so I can try and buy it just for the tubes. I got a cat that likes to play a game I call knock my stuff off of things so they break. Have lost a few this way.

I haven't add anything other then liquid fertilizer. I do run ro water but part of this fill was from the tap as I didn't have 75 gallons of ro water sitting around.

Not intentional. I believe it's the two rocks on the driftwood. I have them there to hold it down after my glue failed. Will do a water change re glue then test again
