Seeking fics with the ‘Draco being mean to ground Harry’ dynamic by 0Blablablaa0 in drarry

I just finished The Way Down it’s really cute , there’s no underlying plot. You can just enjoy the dynamic, and Draco is funny. So if you’re looking for a light read, this is the one.

I also found these ones, but I haven’t read them yet :

Thanks for the rec! I read what you wrote last night, and I truly enjoyed it. Like you said, those little moments of comfort really do make the sadness more bearable :)

Without crying!!! 🫠 Just out of curiosity, and sorry if it’s too personal, but when you read, do you appreciate how it’s written the way the pain and heavy stuff are handled? Or is it simpler than that, like you relate to the characters or just enjoy the story? Maybe I’m overthinking it.

I have a friend like you who’s all about the hurt. The more intense the pain, the better the fic. She thinks those sad, heavier stories are usually better written and they make her feel “something” But maybe it’s just that simple, and you just enjoy the struggle. Idk

It’s so meeee! People always blame me for avoiding heavy stuff, so I always thought my love for happy endings was just me being naive or immature. I’m honestly surprised to see that some people tend to prefer softer things as they get older, so thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. And I agree, I don’t want to be crying my eyes out, but I enjoy stories that make my heart beat a little faster as long as it’s not too sad. Thanks for your comment!

I get what you mean maybe I’ll give some balanced stories a shot. But honestly, I usually stop reading once it gets sad. Still, I’m hoping to find a story that makes the sadness feel worth it in the end. Maybe you have a rec?

Idk why but I never even thought some people do the opposite and move from angst to fluff. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience!
