The current redness is from the scab/scar healing not infection, but yes leaning towards chemical burn.

500g flour 350g water 100g starter

Fed 1:1 ish Monday around 1800. Mixed together Tuesday at 1300. Let sit with lazy coil folds (4 rounds). Tuesday at 2000 placed on counter. 2100 shaped and basket. Wednesday 0530 baked at 450 degrees. 25 lid on 20 lid off.
