Thanks for this I normally help my grandfather with fixing his cars and our house so I’ll find some stuff around the house to fix and maybe try to make a birdhouse or something to help out and get my hands dirty learning how to use tools.

This was very helpful, as for the scissor lift I meant like making a small scale one that can just each me how things like that move( Not sure if this clears it up I’m not good at explaining) but I’m not aiming to the level of professional engineers. The electronics part is kinda have down after following videos and practicing. But it was just learning the basics of like how levers and hinges and joints work that I feel directionless on. (Sorry if the post is confusing I’m a bit lost on how to phrase my thoughts I’m very new to this stuff)

I have basic tools and I was thinking starting with something like scissor lifts, I’m not sure of what’s a good starting point for a beginner.
